1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HelmPlanet (“Platform,” “Service,” “we,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of the Service
HelmPlanet provides tools for boat owners, brokers, and related users, including but not limited to: vessel profiles, maintenance tracking, cost estimates, social feeds, listings, messaging, and analytics. Features may change, be added, or removed at any time without notice.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding agreements to use the Platform.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Ensuring information you provide is accurate and current
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User Content & Responsibility
You retain ownership of any content you post (text, images, listings, messages, data, etc.) (“User Content”).
You are solely and fully responsible for:
The accuracy, legality, and reliability of your User Content
Any consequences resulting from posting, sharing, or acting on User Content
How you use the Platform and any decisions made based on information from it
HelmPlanet:
Does not verify, endorse, guarantee, or validate User Content
Is not responsible for errors, omissions, misrepresentations, or outcomes related to User Content
By posting content, you grant HelmPlanet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use such content solely for operating and improving the Platform.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
Post false, misleading, illegal, defamatory, or infringing content
Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
Use the Platform for fraud, harassment, or unlawful activity
Attempt to interfere with system integrity or security
Scrape, copy, or exploit Platform data without authorization
Violation may result in removal of content, suspension, or permanent termination.
7. Listings, Brokers, and Transactions
HelmPlanet is not a broker, dealer, agent, or marketplace operator.
All listings, communications, negotiations, and transactions occur directly between users
HelmPlanet does not participate in, guarantee, or mediate sales, contracts, payments, inspections, surveys, or delivery
Users assume all risks associated with engaging other users
8. Maintenance Data & Estimates
Maintenance schedules, reminders, forecasts, and cost estimates are:
Informational only
Non-binding
Not professional, mechanical, financial, or safety advice
You are solely responsible for verifying maintenance requirements and ensuring vessel safety and compliance.
9. No Professional Advice
Content provided on HelmPlanet does not constitute legal, financial, mechanical, maritime, or safety advice. Always consult qualified professionals.
10. Intellectual Property
All Platform software, branding, design, and non-user content are owned by HelmPlanet or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
11. Privacy
Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that online platforms cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for violations or to protect the Platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
HelmPlanet disclaims all warranties, including:
Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
Availability or uninterrupted operation
